We thought it would be a good idea to reach out to show you all what support we are currently offering to all families in the South hams area.  

Please see below how we can help

• Our Step-by-Step group (Additional needs) at Totnes Family hub – 0-5yrs – And also supported by the Early year’s complex needs team. Parent request for contact needed.
• SENDtastic after school group – Totnes family hub – 4-11yrs olds. 3-4.30pm - Parent request for contact will be required
• SENDtastic after school group – Kingsbridge area – All ages 2.30pm-4.30pm - Parent request for contact will be required
• Speech & Language – ‘Let’s Talk read and play 5-6 Week course. - Parent request for contact will be required
• Antenatal Course – we can offer antenatal support – Parent request for contact will be required
• Baby Massage – Parent request for contact will be required
• Violet Pathways – This is not run by us at AFC – I’ve attached a leaflet - Totnes Family hub
• Open spaces – Free groups for families to attend – No booking required – Families can just turn up!

                                              Totnes Open space – Mondays & Fridays 1.30- 3.30pm

                                              Totnes Baby space – This group is for Bump to Pre-walkers  – Tuesdays 10am – 12pm

                                              Dartmouth Open space – Thursday 1.30pm -3pm

 

• Eat talk and Thrive – Totnes Family hub – Advice & Support offered on meals, sitting at the table, struggles families may have & routines. For all ages. – At Totnes family hub
• Taste & Explore – Primary aged children – Using senses through food – Totnes family hub – Waiting for a poster from Anna who will be running this group.

 

• Thrive Nurture group – Parent & Child Group – We aren’t offering individual sessions for families – Parent request for contact will be required

 

• Citizen’s advice and support – Drop in or appointments at Totnes Family hub – Last Monday of every month – First one will be the Monday 23rd September 10-1pm

 

• Single Sessions – 1 hr appointment for parents to seek support for any worries they may have – Parent request for contact will be required
  Appointments can be arranged in the home or at the family hubs.
