Teacher Nursery Class
In Nursery, children learn through play. We have a mixture of whole class, small group and individual activities with many opportunities to follow their own choice of play.
We have a Read Write Inc. phonics session where the children learn initial sounds, finger gym, music, have pen pals for writing, action songs, number rhymes, fun fit and forest school.
We aim to develop a love of reading and children take library books home to share with families.
In Nursery, we learn about the school rules: Be Safe, Be Kind and Be Ready and we earn House Points and rewards for our excellent behaviour.
